Overview
- Lymphangitic spread of tumor refers to tumor growth in the lymphatics of the lung.
- Seen with lung, breast, GI and prostatic neoplasms
Pathological Findings
- The radiographic manifestations of pulmonary lymphangitic carcinomatosis include reticular densities, Kerley B lines, and subpleural edema.
- Hilar and mediastinal adenopathy may occur.
