* Chondroid, myxoid, and fibrous tissue components
* Discrete, solitary mass male 55 years
* Spindle cells or stellate cells in a myxoid or chondroid stroma
* Pain at the site of the skeletal lesion
* Pseudolobulated architecture
* Bone destruction
* Lobules with hypocellular centers and hypercellular peripheries
* Scattered calcifications


 
* Well-defined, “punched-out” lytic lesions
* Metaphyseal region of long bones
* Marked erosion, expansion, and destruction of bone cortex
* Lobulated, eccentric radiolucent lesion with a well defined sclerotic margin
* Thick ridging around the periphery
* No periosteal reaction
* “Soap bubble” appearance
* Presence of septations, pseudotrabeculation, and geographic bone destruction
