Overview
The atrioventricular nodal branch most frequently arises as an distal branch from posterolateral artery off of the right coronary artery, but occasionally the atrioventricular node receives blood from the circumflex branch of left coronary artery.
Natural History, Complications, Prognosis
Ischemia of the atrioventricular artery can cause heart block.
