Overview
Barium swallow of the esophagus shows multiple rings associated with eosinophilic esophagitis.
X Ray
- X-ray findings are as follows:[1][2][3]
- Barium studies cannot diagnose EoE but are helpful in identifying any underlying anatomical abnormalities such as strictures, rings, etc.
- They also help to rule out the other causes of dysphagia.
- The barium swallow of the esophagus shows multiple rings associated with EoE.
