==Overview==
Ultrasound may be helpful in the diagnosis of glomus tumor. Finding on finger ultrasound suggestive of subungual glomus tumor includes subungual hypoechoic lesion at the region of maximum tenderness. Doppler ultrasound may be helpful in the diagnosis of glomus tumor. Finding on doppler ultrasound suggestive of glomangioma includes hypervascularity of the tumor.
