- Patients with paroxysmal AV block may appear to be altered as paroxysmal AV block commonly presents with syncope/presyncope.
Vital Signs
- Tachycardia with regular pulse or irregular pulse
- Bradycardia with regular pulse or irregular pulse.
Skin
- Skin examination of patients with paroxysmal AV Block is usually normal.
HEENT
- HEENT examination of patients with paroxysmal AV Block is usually normal
Neck
- Neck examination of patients with paroxysmal AV Block is usually normal.
- Jugular venous distension (rule out)
- Carotid bruits may be auscultated unilaterally/bilaterally using the bell/diaphragm of the otoscope (rule out).
Lungs
