Overview
Anhidrosis means lack of sweating.
Causes
It may be caused by underactivity of the sympathetic nervous system. Eccrine sweat glands are innervated by muscarinic acetylcholine receptors. Therefore, antimuscarinic drugs can cause anhidrosis.
