Overview

The gold standard test for the diagnosis of renal oncoytoma is renal biopsy and histopathological charcarterization.

Diagnostic Study of Choice

The gold standard test for the diagnosis of renal oncoytoma is renal biopsy and histopathological charcarterization. Histologically, renal oncocytomas exhibit nests and tubular structures lined by cells with eosinophilic cytoplasmic granularity, edematous myxoid or hyalinized stroma.[1][2][3]
