Overview
According to Hippocratic physicians, gangrene is brought about by three reasons. These include wound constriction that is followed by hemorrhage, compression, and necrosis due to bandages. [1]
Gangrene Causes
According to Hippocratic physicians, gangrene is brought about by three reasons.
- Wound constriction that is followed by hemorrhage
- Compression
- Necrosis due to bandages [1]
- Table 1 below shows the possible causes of each type of gangrene.
