Dr. Khurana received his M.D. in general medicine from the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, India. He completed a one-year internship at Sir Sunderlal Hospital, Banaras Hindu University, and performed an in-depth study of delirium in hospitalized elderly. In 2008 he won 2nd prize for his poster presentation at the GERICON conference. Other achievements include presenting a paper in the International Congress of Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine 2009 (Delhi chapter) and serving as a member of the Indian Academy of Geriatrics. He is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi. Aside from medicine, Dr. Khurana enjoys reading books, playing cricket and table tennis, and listening to music.
