Overview
A CT scan may allow a physician diagnose and/or monitor biliary obstruction, cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma in hepatitis B patients.[1]
CT
In patients with hepatitis B, a CT scan may be performed to:[1]
- Exclude biliary obstruction
- Assess for cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma
