| BYSTOLIC is contraindicated in the following conditions:

| *Severe [[bradycardia]]
| |
| *Heart block greater than first degree
| |
| *Patients with cardiogenic shock
| |
| *Decompensated [[cardiac failure]]
| |
| *Sick sinus syndrome (unless a permanent pacemaker is in place)

| *Patients with severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh >B)
