Overview
Carcinoid syndrome must be differentiated from systemic mastocytosis, medullary thyroid carcinoma, irritable bowel syndrome, malignant neoplasms of the small intestine, benign cutaneous flushing, and recurrent idiopathic anaphylaxis.[1]
