	I am a psychiatrist in private practice in New York City. My practice includes psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and psychoanalysis. I earned my medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York city in 2000. I completed my psychiatry residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City in 2004. I was co-unit chief in a psychiatric inpatient unit at Beth Israel from 2004 to 2006, after which, I left to do private practice. I completed my psychoanalytic training at New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute (NYPSI) in 2012. I remain on voluntary staff at Mount Sinai/Beth Israel in New York, where I supervise residents in psychotherapy. At NYPSI, I am an assistant faculty member, curriculum director of the Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program, as well as a member of the Scientific Program Committee. I have published several articles in The Carlat Psychiatry Report.
