Overveiw
MRI may be performed to detect metastasis of choriocarcinoma to brain and spinal cord.
MRI
MRI is useful in accurately assessing brain and spinal cord metastasis. Metastasis to the brain are usually hemorrhagic and predominantly solitary.[1] It may also help find the spread of choriocarcinoma into the wall of the uterus.[2]
