Overview
There are no ultrasound findings associated with cutaneous psoriasis, though an ultrasound may be used as a bedside tool to evaluate joints in cases of psoriatic arthritis.
Ultrasound
In cases of psoriatic arthritis, an ultrasound may reveal the following abnormalities:[1]
- Synovitis
- Tenosynovitis
- Peritendinitis
- Retrocalcaneal or pre-Achilles bursitis
