Overview
CT scan findings in case of acute presentation of Sheehan's syndrome may show non-hemorrhagic pituitary gland enlargement while chronic presentation may show an empty sella or decreased sellar volume.
CT scan
- Acute presentation shows non-hemorrhagic pituitary gland enlargement.[1]
- Chronic presntation shows:
- Ring enhancement surrounding a low attenuation empty sella.
- Decreased sellar volume or empty sella.[2][3][4]
