Overview
On nasopharyngoscopy, adenoiditis is characterized by enlargement of adenoid tissue and erythema.
Other diagnostic studies
Adenoiditis diagnosis can be confirmed by flexible or rigid nasopharyngoscopy.
In nasopharyngoscopy direct visualization of adenoids is possible, and inflamed adenoid tissue is seen. [1] [2]
