- Presently, Dr. Anmol Pitliya is a research assistant working with Dr. C. Michael Gibson MS MD in medical education study group known as PERFUSE Study Group. He work as an Associate Editor for WikiDoc. He is responsible for contributing original content to WikiDoc or editing existing material as well as assuring the validity and neutrality of material added.

- Dr. Anmol Pitliya worked as a research assistant(volunteer) under Dr. Adarsh Bhan, MD FHRS, Assistant Professor, University of Illinois, Chicago IL.
- I used to take consent from patients, explain to them in detail about the research, take their history regarding risk factor and disease progression, procedures etc. Then we take blood sample from patient, which is sent to University of Illinois, Chicago. The DNA is extracted from blood sample and sequenced. The goal of research is to find if there is a genetic marker that predisposes these individuals to Atrial fibrillation.
