Overview

Patients with pleomorphic adenoma are usually normal in general and they have normal physical examination except a visible swelling or para-pharyngeal mass which is palpable if the tumor arises from the deep lobe of the parotid.

Physical examination of patients with pleomorphic adenoma is usually normal.

Appearance of the Patient

  • Patients with pleomorphic adenoma usually appear normal.

  • When pleomorphic adenoma involves the deep lobe of the parotid gland it presents as para-pharyngeal mass which can be palpable.[1]
