Overview

Patients with pleomorphic adenoma are usually normal in general and they have normal physical examination except a visible swelling or para-pharyngeal mass which is palpable if the tumor arises from the deep lobe of the parotid.

Appearance of the Patient

• Patients with pleomorphic adenoma usually appear normal.

Vital Signs

• Their vital signs are within normal limits.

Skin

• Skin examination of patients with pleomorphic adenoma is usually normal.

HEENT

• When pleomorphic adenoma involves the deep lobe of the parotid gland it presents as para-pharyngeal mass which can be palpable.

Neck
