Overview

Chest X-ray of patients with Eisenmenger's syndrome may show cardiomegaly, right ventricular or biventricular enlargement, right atrial or biatrial enlargement, and pulmonary vascular plethora.

Chest X-ray of patients with Eisenmenger's syndrome may show the following[1][2]:

  • Cardiomegaly
  • Right ventricular or biventricular enlargement
  • Right atrial or biatrial enlargement
  • Pulmonary vascular plethora
  • In severe disease, a normal-sized heart with diminished pulmonary vasculature may be seen.
