Overview
Effective measures for the primary prevention of tricuspid stenosis include no intravenous drug use and careful dental hygiene.
Primary Prevention
- In cases of tricuspid stenosis with past medical history of intravenous drug use or bacterial endocarditis as the precipitating event, emphasize careful dental hygiene.
- Maximize drug detoxification efforts with routine antibiotic coverage should be administered for prevention of endocarditis.
