Overview
An x-ray with esophagography may be helpful in the diagnosis of bronchogenic cyst.
X-ray
An x-ray with esophagography may be helpful in the diagnosis of bronchogenic cyst. Findings on an x-ray suggestive of bronchogenic cyst include:[1][2]
- Homogeneous non-calcified soft tissue density mass.
- Round to oval opacity
- Secondary excavation
- Cavity with or without levels
- Atelectasis
- Hydropneumothorax
