Laboratory findings consistent with the diagnosis of TBMD include:
- Urinalysis[1]:
- Microscopic intermittent or persistent hematuria in patient and multiple family members.
- Proteinuria: Rarely in children, mild-moderate proteinuria is seen in adult and neprotic range proteinuria is rarely seen in elderly patient.
- Renal function test: Normal.
