Aortic sclerosis is generally an asymptomatic condition that is usually detected as an incidental finding on transthoracic echocardiography.
History and Symptoms
- Mostly asymptomatic
- If the patient becomes symptomatic, immediate transthoracic echocardiography is required to evaluate disease progression to aortic stenosis
