Overview

Aortic sclerosis is generally an asymptomatic condition that is usually detected as an incidental finding on transthoracic echocardiography.

History and Symptoms

Mostly asymptomatic
If the patient becomes symptomatic, immediate transthoracic echocardiography is required to evaluate disease progression to aortic stenosis
