Overview
Telangiectasia Macularis Eruptiva Perstans (TMEP) is a much rarer form of cutaneous mastocytosis that affects adults.[1] The lesions are smaller than those of urticaria pigmentosa, and they do not itch.
Epidemiology and Demographics
Unlike urticaria pigmentosa, this disorder affects adults.
Diagnosis
Symptoms
The rash is persistent, pigmented, asymptomatic.
Physical Examination
Skin
There are macules usually less than 0.5cm in diameter with a slightly reddish-brown tinge.[2]:616[3]
