Overview
On chest x-ray, waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia may be characterized by enlarged lymph nodes, pulmonary infiltrates, nodules, effusion, and congestive heart failure.
X Ray
- Chest x-ray may be used to evaluate the following:[1]
- Enlarged lymph nodes
- Pulmonary infiltrates (this is especially important in patients who are immunocompromised while receiving chemotherapy)
- Nodules
- Effusion
- Cardiomegaly (due to congestive heart failure)
