Overview
MRI lung is the least accepted modality in diagnosing lung abscess.
MRI
- It has a very minimal role in establishing diagnosis of lung abscess
- It is superior to X-ray and almost as sensitive as CT but is only considered as an option in paediatrics and when CT is contraindicated.[1]
