Differentiating Tuberous Sclerosis from other Diseases
Tuberous sclerosis must be differentiated from other diseases that cause myxoma or other benign tumors and/or seizures, such as:
- Sturge-Weber;
- Hypomelanosis of Ito;
- Birt-Hogg-Dube syndrome;
- Multiple endocrine neoplasia;
- Seizures disorders.[1]
