Overview
CT scan may diagnose and/or monitor biliary obstruction, cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma, in patients with hepatitis D.
CT
In patients with hepatitis D, a CT scan may be performed to:[1]
- Exclude biliary obstruction
- Assess for cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma
- Evaluate the stage of fibrosis and inflammatory activity
