Overview
Amlodipine besylate and Olmesartan medoxomil is an antihypertensive agent that is FDA approved for the treatment of hypertension. There is a Black Box Warning for this drug as shown here. Common adverse reactions include edema, dizziness, headache.
Adult Indications and Dosage

- Azor is indicated for the treatment of hypertension, alone or with other antihypertensive agents , to lower blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions.
