Overview
Symptoms of nephrotic syndrome include edema, dyspnea, abdominal fullness, anorexia, and fatigue.
Symptoms
- Swelling, especially in the lower extremities and genitals or anasarca
- Dyspnea suggestive of pleural effusion
- Abdominal fullness suggestive of ascites
- Symptoms of high blood pressure, such as headache and visual disturbance
- Symptoms of proteinuria, such as foamy urine
- Weight gain
- Fatigue
- Anorexia

- Symptoms of associated complications, such as symptoms of deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary edema
