Overview
CT
- CT scan is used to:[1]
- Observe the extent of the bone tumor.
- Observe if the tumor has spread into nearby tissues.
- Guide a biopsy needle to the tumor (CT-guided biopsy).
- Observe if the bone cancer has spread to the lung (metastasis).
- Follow response to radiation and/or chemotherapy.
