- Selected finalists in the 2009 All India Bruce Davis Gold Medal Exam in palliative medicine conducted by Palliative Care Center at Calicut Medical College, a WHO demonstration project which was a nationwide examination from which they selected 10 finalists were selected from all medical colleges in India.

- Ammu Susheela is a research postdoctoral scholar at Harvard medical school. She graduated from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Karnataka, India. She has a passion for medicine, cardiology, medical innovation and dance. She actively participates in community activities and years of experience in organizing community events, health awareness camps and seminars.
