Overview
PET and bone scan may be helpful in the diagnosis of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Other Imaging Findings
- For identification of areas in the body that are affected by non-Hodgkin lymphoma
- To help monitor response to treatment
- For detection of recurrences
- Bone scan is used:
- To see if non-Hodgkin lymphoma has spread to the bones
- If bone pain is present (may be caused by bone involvement)
- If alkaline phosphatase is increased
