Causes

- The risk is proportional to the hormonal dose and duration of medication.
- Less possible causes of hepatocellular adenoma include:
- Clomiphene
- Methyl testosterone
- Danazol
- Klinefelter's syndrome
- Types I, III and IV glycogen storage disease
- Familial adenomatous polyposis[1]
