* Slow growing, painless, well circumscribed

* Cervical lymphadenopathy
* Ulceration of buccal mucosa




* Low-grade: well-circumscribed cystic masses
* Cystic spaces surrounded by two uniform rows of cells
* High-grade: poorly defined margins, infiltrate locally and appear solid
* Centrally placed pyknotic nuclei
* Calcification may be present
* Papillary infoldings
* Lymphoid stroma and germinal center formation
* No myoepithelial component


* Solid or cystic architecture
* A mixture of epidermoid squamous, intermediate, mucous, and clear cells
* Mucin vacuoles
* Nuclear distortion and cytoplasmic clearing


* t(11;19)(q21;p13)
* Bilaterally cystic lesion
* MECT1-MAML2 fusion gene
* Located posteriorly within the parotidfocal tumour nodulerelatively well defined
* No calcification
