* Sessile or pedunculated lesion located at the metaphyseal region of the femur
* Cartilage cap
* Irregular subchondral bone
* Projecting away from the epiphysis


 
* Well circumscribed lucent cortical lesion located at the femur
* Composed of bone, cartilage, and perichondrium
* Less than 2 cm in diameter with cortical thickening
* Pink fibrous capsule
* Surrounded by reactive sclerosis
* Normal bony trabeculae
* Ovoid central region of mineralisation
* Absence of spindle cells
