- The most potent risk factor in the development of gastric MALT lymphoma is H.pyroli infection. About 5–10% of people with gastric MALT lymphoma do not have an H. pylori infection (H. pylori negative).[1] Other risk factors for gastric MALT lymphoma include:[2]
