Overview
An ECG may be helpful in the diagnosis of alcoholic liver disease. Findings on an ECG suggestive of cirrhosis include prolonged QTc interval. This could correlate with increased left ventricular end diastolic dimension (LVEDD) on echocardiography, indicating the severity of the volume overload in cirrhotic patients.

- An ECG may be helpful in the diagnosis of alcoholic liver disease. Findings on an ECG suggestive of cirrhosis include:[1][2][3][4]
- Prolonged QTc interval
