Biopsy
- Microscopically they have patchy consolidation.
- Microscopically exudation and interstitial changes are seen.
- They are best seen with Giemsa stain as inclusions called Leventhal -Colle-Lillie bodies and can be seen within macrophages in BAL fluid.
