- Mortality rate is 0.3% for stapled rigid endoscopic procedures.
- Mortality rate for non-stapled rigid endoscopic procedures is 0.2%.
Age
ZD commonly affects middle-aged and elderly individuals, especially people in their 7th and 8th decades.[1]
