An x-ray may be helpful in the diagnosis of duodenal atresia. Findings on an x-ray diagnostic of duodenal atresia include double bubble sign which are air fluid levels in the stomach.

• Findings on an x-ray are suggestive of duodenal atresia and include:
  • Air fluid levels in the stomach
    • Due to stomach and proximal duodenum dilation
