Laboratory Findings

• Laboratory findings consistent with the diagnosis of Sjögren's syndrome include:
  • Elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR)
  • Anemia
  • Leukopenia
  • Thrombocytopenia
  • Eosinophilia
  • Hypergammaglobulinemia
  • Presence of anti-SSA/Ro, anti-SSB/La
  • Presence of rheumatoid factor (RF)
  • Presence of anti–alpha-fodrin antibody (diagnostic marker of juvenile Sjögren's syndrome)
  • Elevation in Creatinine (Cr)
  • Proteinuria or cellular casts and hematuria
