- The abnormal findings on the chest x-ray in Kawasaki disease are non specific which may include the following:[1]
- Peribronchial cuffing
- A reticulogranular pattern
- Pleural effusion
- Atelectasis
- Air trapping
- On rare occasions, years after the resolution of the initial episode the patient may present with the following finding on the chest x-ray:[2]
- Calcified coronary artery aneurysms
