- Pinpoint dots on skin called petechiae
- Paleness
- Jaundice

- Tachycrdia

- Severe complications; sudden cardiac death, myocardial infarction, cardiogenic shock, and/or heart failure
Neurologic
- No abnormalities
- Moderate signs [1]; speech changes, confusion
- Severe involvement; focal signs, seizure, stroke, coma
