Overview
The IMPROVEDD VTE Risk Score,[1] which incorporates D-dimer measurement into the IMPROVE (International Medical Prevention Registry on Venous Thromboembolism) score,[2] refines the prediction of symptomatic venous thromboembolism events in acutely ill hospitalized patients up to 77 days of hospitalization.
