Overview
Other diagnostic studies for adult T-cell leukemia include skin biopsy, bone marrow biopsy, and fluorescent in situ hybridization.
Other Diagnostic Studies
Skin Biopsy
- Biopsy of the cutaneous lesions may be helpful in the diagnosis of adult T-cell Leukemia. Histopathological findings on biopsy can be found here.[1]
Bone Marrow Biopsy
- Bone marrow biopsy may be helpful in the diagnosis of adult T-cell Leukemia. Histopathological findings on biopsy can be found here.[1]
Cytogenetic Tests
- Fluorescent in situ hybridization detects any chromosomal mutations occurring among adult T-cell leukemia patients. Common genetic mutations involved in the development of adult T-cell leukemia can be found here.[2]
