Overview
Scoliosis may present with pulmonary hypertension as a late complication. Increased pulmonary pressures in pulmonary hypertension (PH) can lead to right ventricular hypertrophy (RVH) and right atrial enlargement which may be observed on electrocardiogram (ECG).
Electrocardiogram
Scoliosis may present with pulmonary hypertension as a late complication.
ECG Findings Suggestive of Pulmonary Hypertension
P pulmonale: P wave amplitude >2.5mm may be seen
