There can be reticular linear densities or small nodules.
Chest X-ray
Chest Xray changes can vary from non specific changes in interstitial structures to pulmonary alveolar fibrosis in chronic cases.
- Reticular linear densities, or small nodules or both.[1]
- loss of lung volume
- Hyperinflation ( in chronic cases)
- Stiff lungs-restricted volume in others.
- Sometimes, pleural changes can be seen.
- Hilar adenopathy in rare cases
